Over 125 years of American tailoring
In September of 1899, Jeremiah Hickey and Jacob Freeman, coworkers at Wile Brickner & Wile in Rochester, NY, decided to go into business for themselves. They soon after built “The Temple of Fine Tailoring”, our home, on North Clinton Avenue. Over the next 125 years, thousands of men and women pushed American tailoring to prominence on the world’s stage. Their work is our heritage.
At Rochester Tailored Clothing, we carry on the knowledge, traditions, and commitment to quality that set this factory apart as a marvel of made-to-order clothing. Many factories can make a garment that looks like a suit. It takes decades of diligence to make a real one. That is our pride at Rochester Tailored Clothing: to “Keep the Quality Up!”.
